I love this stuff. In the summer when makeup can slide off your face in the humidity, especially in New York, Benetint adds long lasting colour to lips and cheeks. Benetint rose-tinted lip & cheek stain.

L’Occitane Mens Verdon Travel Essentials — £15 100ml Invigorating Shaving Gel, 75ml Verdon Fresh Shower Gel, 10ml Verdon Pure Face Wash in a great L’Occitane Travel Bag. ______________________________________________________________________________________ I am so profoundly fed up with the winter, and am sniffing my bottle of Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse d’Or daily as it smells quintessentially of summer. It also makes your limbs soft as a newborn’s, and adds a supermodel-worthy sheen.

My hands are the paws of a wrinkled old crone in the winter, & my nails a disgrace. SolarOil Cuticle Oil by Creative Nail Design £10.95 from Cult Beauty is a good solution for peeling nails and scraggy cuticles:
_________________________ I don’t travel anywhere without a travel size of Elemis Exotic Frangipani Monoi Moisture Melt £29 which can be used as bath oil, body oil or a hair treatment. It smells like paradise in a bottle.
__________________________________________________________________________________– My boys in New Jersey have L’Occitane Verbena Shea Butter Liquid Soap in their cloakroom & I just love the smell. It’s £16 here

I’ve always been a fan of Benefit’s humorous approach to beauty. Of course, it would be pointless if their products didn’t work, but they do, so that’s all right then. I particularly like their kits for those of us who are fumbling a bit with how to use products like eyeshadow, so today’s best beauty buy is their Big Beautiful Eyes kit — eye shadow and concealer. There’s also free postage on orders over £50.

Ah Ren. What’s not to like? It’s skincare that uses the latest hi-tech bio actives, but still uses 100% natural fragrances, and is free from harsh sulfates and synthetic colours. My Copenhagen hotel had Ren products in the bathrooms, and I slathered myself in the Neroli & Grapefruit Body Wash in the shower each morning. Glorious.
