I’m sure that I am not the only one who stuffs their coat pockets upon leaving the house with poo bags and collapsible bowl, whilst clutching a water bottle and headphones in their hands, and trying to stop the dog dragging me along the street, such is its enthusiasm to get to the park for SQUIRRELS.
So hurrah for my friends at Dogs Trust, as they have collaborated again with those nice people at Radley to launch a new dog walking backpack and matching coin purses just in time for Christmas.
The backpack is so cleverly thought out – there are elasticated straps to safely hold a post-swim towel or picnic blanket, two elasticated side pockets for a ball or drinking bottle, a removable drawstring bag for treats, a waterproof internal pocket for a slobbery toy post-walk, additional front, back and internal compartments for a purse, wallet, keys and phone, and very very handy clip to hold a poo bag dispenser.
I feel that I should also point out that all mud on the backpack is a result of a particularly muddy sausage dog walk on Hampstead Heath last weekend, and that it sponges off beautifully.
