This is a Sponsored Post in association with St James’s Market
Last night I headed to Piccadilly, and walked just behind the famous statue of Antheros to St James’s Market to watch the beyond fabulous London Gay Mens Chorus belt out show tunes and Christmas songs to celebrate the opening of the physical advent calendar in St James’s Market. The installation, created by illustrator Daniel Clarke, has transformed the St James’s Market Pavilion, in the centre of the Market area, into a stylised cityscape filled with local and London landmarks.
It will have a panel removed each day to reveal a new gift from a retailer, restaurant, art gallery or hotel in the area, including John Smedley, Trickers, Aspinal of London, Barbour International, Floris , Smeg and Jigsaw, all of which have been chosen by London Fashion Week Men to celebrate the menswear creativity to be found in the area.
The public can enter to win each gift via the digital Advent Calendar which will open on the St James’s London Instagram (@stjameslondon) each day to reveal a one of a kind gift to be won. You can enter either via the St James’s website or through the Instagram feed. I’ll be revealing two of the gifts on my own Instagram, on December 09 and on December 18th. (I can promise that they are WELL worth winning. This is categorically not your average chocolate Advent Calendar.)
HOW TO WIN:
Each gift will be revealed daily over on the StJamesLondon Instagram Stories, as well as giving details on how to enter the giveaway. Participants can enter daily for a chance to win each prize https://stjamesslondon.typeform.com/to/rD5749
It’s such a perfect time of year to visit this part of London – the lights are spectacular, below on Regent Street St James, and the stores and restaurants are all warm and welcoming. It’s one of my favourite parts of the city. (You may have seen my post this time last year on my favourite places in St James. You can find it here)
