Apparently our last Hampstead Heath Sausage Walk was on August 20th – I can’t quite believe it was so long ago, as we do try to meet up every six weeks or so, but I was away for most of September hence the interregnum. Still, we’ve finally got around to organising the next one, which takes place this Saturday, the 4th November, meeting in the car park of the Gospel Oak Lido.
All you need to take part is a Dachshund, little or large, or even only part; one of our favourite sausages is Willow who is a Dachsiepoo – a Dachshund Poodle cross. (She’s doesn’t appear to be in these pictures as she had a particularly delicious tennis ball demanding her attention for most of the walk.)
All the details are over on Lettice’s FB Page (For those interested in future walks I always post details on Lettice’s Instagram, and create an event on FB, although of course you don’t have to sign up to attend.)
And here are some of the pics from the August walk:
Lettice and Ziggy Stardust had a marvellous time playing with this gorgeous Leonburger, who couldn’t have been less bothered by their barking.
