Before we drove off to the Cotswolds on Saturday morning, we took a little detour to Tottenham Court Road to visit one of my favourite interiors stores: the London branch of West Elm
That’s because they were hosting their first ever PupUp: a collaboration which saw five Etsy sellers from across the UK taking over space in store to sell their accessories and treats inspired by, and created especially for, dogs.
Lettice and Maisie loved exploring the store, almost as much as they loved meeting the doggy retailers
.
Our first hello was to our friend Louise, who owns Edwyn UK, which I first wrote about on LLG back in 2009. (Some years ago she made us this wonderful cushion, featuring Posetta Baddog.)
The sausages loved her cushions – here and at the very top.
We also checked out the luxury leads and collars from Hiro & Wolf, handmade using vegetable tanned leather and brightly printed fabric sourced from Africa.
Lettice was very taken by this lovely pup tent, from Pup Tart who sell hand dyed, hand stitched and hand printed accessories for you, your pet and your home.
This is the absolutely lovely eponymous Harriet, of Hello Harriet, who sells wonderful illustrations from pugs to dachshunds applied onto accessories and temporary tattoos.
West Elm TCR have a series of excellent events planned for this summer. Next up is a yoga brunch on 25 July. Do check out their Facebook page for details on all their events.
