This month sees the launch of the High Life Christmas Charity Auction, raising money for British Airway’s Comic Relief partnership, Flying Start.
The reserve price for all lots is just £50, and you can bid from 9 am on 1 November until 9pm on 21 December at auction.highlife.ba.com.
It’s rather nice to be back writing for Conde Nast Traveller some ten years later. (I was an editor there once upon a time.) I was commissioned to write a short piece in this month’s Fashion Guide on slogans in fashion.
My book is stocked in Foyles on the Charing Cross Road. Foyles! In a lovely top of shelf stack, not just filed away. I nearly did a little dance of joy between the aisles. If I hadn’t coincidentally bumped into lovely Celine, the book’s editor – what are the chances of that? – I would have done so.
PS Don’t forget to RSVP for the freeeeeee cookery book salon (with cocktails & canapes from Friends, Food, Family) that I am hosting at Kate Spade in Covent Garden THIS Thursday. See you there!
