Eeeeekkkkkk! Zombie attack! There I was, just hanging out, taking a selfie, when a zombie photobombed me…
Highgate village in North London goes all out for Halloween: I had no idea that, when Clare invited me trick or treating with Olly and Lulu, our pet zombies, we would be entertained on an American scale.
There were pumpkins galore, ghosts hanging from railings, witches handing out candy on the high street,
and monsters ambushing us from petshops. And don’t even get me started on the giant pirate party going on at the dentists, or the candy-loving vampire at the estate agents.
Or the terrifying clown at The Red Lion & Sun.
Clare was a fantastic red devil (TWO sets of horns), and I went as a London-style witch, in an LBD, over the knee boots, a long black velvet cape, lace mittens, a velvet pointy hat and three sets of fake eyelashes, that were so effective I should have been sponsored by Eylure. (
