This may well be my favourite Boden Diaries story so far. My father and I and Lettice spent the day zooming around the glorious Goodwood Estate in his vintage Jaguar XK120, before hunkering down for the evening with my sister, Remy and Posetta Baddog in the Goodwood Hotel. I love Goodwood: my father and I have driven on the historic motor circuit there plenty of times, most recently in the MGA (story here), and it was great to be able to return with him for this story.
The whole story is over here on the Boden site.
Meanwhile, here on LLG, I have some of the behind the scenes photographs and outs from the story that Remy and I shot on the day. We are wearing Boden in all the photos and, at the bottom of this post is a clickable carousel featuring all the pieces.
Goodwood is VERY dog friendly.
Lettice is still getting the hang of this modelling malarkey: Mummy WHY I am not in this shot?
Here’s my father, in front of a beautiful sweeping vista of Goodwood
And us posing in the pits in the motor circuit. Yes, those are our helmets (not props!).
Lettice’s first visit to a race track, being carefully restrained by Remy.
Spot the sausage
There was a balloon ascension just as we were leaving. Not that Letty was bovvered.
An extremely tired sausage at the end of the day
