I did  BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour the day after the BAFTAs on red carpet dressing and the idiocy of treating actresses like models, along with fellow guest Zoe Williams. It is quite my favourite show to appear on. However many times I do it, I will never get over the thrill of appearing on the show that I listen to every day at home. Jenni Murray! Heaven! You can hear us doing our thing here on the BBC iPlayer.

British Airways asked me to write up my favourite shops in London, along with a few places to rest one’s weary shopping feet en route. The story is here.

I spent the Saturday of London Fashion Week whizzing around like a crazy person (so no change there), reviewing four designers for the official publication of LFW: The LFW Daily.

From Jasper Conran at  9am at The Saatchi over in Chelsea, to Orla Kiely in Bloomsbury, to Holly Fulton at Somerset House, and then Lucas Nascimento at 1700, I’m still not quite sure how I managed to fit all the shows in,  AND write my copy for the evening deadline. Anyway, you can read my show reviews here. (I did it for the first time last season, and I’ve rather enjoyed dusting off my long buried critic’s hat.)

oh and I’ll be at Nick Knight’s SHOWstudio on Friday (tomorrow – the 27th) at 1330hrs GMT, on the panel reviewing the Dior AW14 show live from Paris Fashion Week. I did Dior last season too, and it was a most extraordinary presentation, with an entire greenhouse of flowers hanging from the ceilings. Do tune in online, to see what happens this season…

And, nothing really to do with me, but my dear, dear friend (and first boyfriend) the actor Nick Fletcher is performing in The Young Vic’s production of A Doll’s House at BAM in New York. The show opened last night, and runs until mid March.  I took lil’sis to see it  in London’s West End last year for her birthday, and it was one of the best nights of my year. It is a quite phenomenal production, and Hattie Morahan as Nora is  exceptional (as, of course, is Nick as Krogstad.) Beg, borrow, steal for a ticket if you live in New York.
