I’m very pleased to announce that I am a member of the judging panel for this year’s NatWest UK Fashion & Textile Awards, which celebrate the UK fashion industry, recognising the immense creativity, innovation and success of British brands, young design talent and UK based companies. The gala awards take place on May 22nd at East London’s Tobacco Dock. (But hurry if you wish to enter – the awards close soon. Details below.)
My fellow judges are Hilary Alexander, OBE (chair); Heather Melville, RBS; Laura Weir, Sunday Times Style; Alexandra Fullerton, Stylist magazine; Graeme Moran, Drapers; Peter Ackroyd, Woolmark; and Martyn Roberts, Fashion Scout.
When choosing the judges for this year’s Awards, UKFT sought experts in their particular fields, covering fashion, design, innovation and business; allowing for a comprehensive analysis of each entrant’s commercial performance in the current financial climate.

• Accessories Award
• Exporter Award
• Textile Business Award
• CAPITB UKFT Let’s Make it Here Award
