When fashion house Hoss Intropia and I first started talking about the possibility of an LLG collaboration, I was a little concerned: My drawing ability starts and ends with a packet of felt tip pens left over from high school. But when I came across a piece of vintage lace from the 1950s in a box of my grandmother’s things I knew that I wanted to turn it into a beautiful 21st century scarf, that would work with both jeans and a chic dress.
By scanning and manipulating the lace pattern and printing it onto fabric, we have produced the perfect amalgam of old and new, which also reflects my life as both fashion editor and blogger. The gorgeous, limited edition and made in Italy scarf is available now, sold exclusively online here and via the Hoss Intropia flagship store on Sloane Square. 10% of the proceeds will be donated to Oxfam Intermon, to help continue their fight against global poverty.
To celebrate our first collaboration, we are throwing a free customer event at the Hoss Intropia Flagship store in London’s Sloane Square, next Wednesday 5th March. There will be cocktails, a fashion show, a 20% discount, and I will be on hand to give styling advice. It’s always lovely to meet readers, especially in the light of the phenomenal wave of wonderful emails and comments I have been receiving recently, so I do hope some of you will be able to make it on the night.
Please email your event RSVPs to Hoss Intropia at email@example.com (but do feel free to let me know you are coming in the comments below, so I know to look out for you!)
