Camden Framed

LucyLovesThis is a design studio based in Brixton, south London, set up by book cover designer, Lucy Stephens. At LucyLovesThis, the team hand-pulls typographic prints inspired by things it loves: food, London, travel, music and lots more.  Their prints and bags are hand screen printed in the south London studio and the tea towels are screen printed in Wales

Most of all, however, the brand is best known for its London alphabet of the capital. These wonderful artworks are made up of intricate collections of words and illustrations, intertwined to create the first letter of particular areas of London.

As you know, I like to support independent designers when I can, and I think they are so fabulous that when they suggested we give some away on LLG as a pre -Christmas giveaway, I agreed immediately.

I have three: one of London, one of Camden – because that’s where LLG is based,, one of Hackney. Simply leave a comment below, telling us which one you would like, and why, and we’ll get them out in time for Christmas.
If you aren’t a London lover, there are prints for other places too: major British cities, including Cambridge, Brighton and Leeds, and other capitals including Paris, New York and Sydney.

Thanks for bringing this website to my attention, I’ve been looking for affordable London prints to get for my boyfriends Christmas present! I’d love a chance to win the Battersea one. That’s where I live and it would be great for us both to have one from our own areas!

Oops, just realised I misread that. Blame it on fatigue from being in the middle of a night shift! The London one would make a great gift. Thanks for the chance!

Ah, I love Lucy Loves This prints! A friend got me the Battersea (because of the “B”) card for my birthday and I’d be delighted to own the Hackney print! I learned to love London East End back in the late 90s. The area changed so much since then, but so did I, that is why after all these years Columbia Road flower market Sundays or summer walks/picnics in Victoria Park are still among the London activities I miss the most.
It’d be lovely to have a reminder of my happy place hanging on my wall here in Rome.

I would love to win one of the Hackney prints please. Having moved from East London a few years back to Brighton these are all the places I miss so much. A pint and burger on Broadway Market, the panto at the Empire, Sunday strolls for flowers to Columbia Road, Vicky Park picnics, ahhhhh Hackney life…

Hi LLG! I’d really love the Camden print because that’s the borough I’ve been born and raised in and the chances are that’ll I’ll be moving soon so this would be a beautiful daily reminder of home! Fingers crossed! Gail x

These are heaven! The London one would look perfect in my house!!

I would love, love, love the Camden one as I’m also Camden-based. Ever since I moved to London I’ve never moved more than 200 yards from the Camden Rd bridge. Sadly I’m soon to move further east (I don’t want to!) so think this would be the perfect way to remember my time here.

I love the London print. While I’m back living in the North now, I spent some very happy years living in Londom and still think of it as the hub of most of my friendships. There’s still something special about coming back x

I would love the Camden print because Camden has special memories – it’s where I went on my first ever date and where I gave birth to twins some 20 years later!

Hi Sasha, I would adore the London print if I were to win the giveaway :) After 8 years of living in London (and in Camden too!) & now being Down Under – I miss London terribly & think these are gorgeous reminders of my beloved distant home. Love to you & P-bad as always – happy Christmas! xx Trish
