Don’t forget that it is our BIG LONDON SHOE SALE THIS EVENING! (More details here)
If you have any further donations, they can be dropped off at Chiltern Street today, or just brought along to the sale. The Studios are just across the road from Baker Street tube, in Marylebone, so super easy to find. There will be refreshments and CAKE, so do come and hang out. Suzanne will be there, with all her family, and I’ve press ganged my sister and LLG number two Emily into helping too.
We are thrilled to have had such incredibly generous donations from readers and shoe retailers alike. (One Conde Nast editor, who deserves a place in heaven, donated three pairs: Marni, Anya Hindmarch and Prada. Camilla Morton has also been wonderful!)
We haven’t had a chance to go through everything yet — there are a LOT of shoes! — but so far I’ve seen Jimmy Choos, Marni, Prada, Kurt Geiger, Isabel Marant wedge trainers (thank you Covetique!), quite a lot of Manolos, Louboutins, Nicholas Kirkwood, Boden, Barbour, a GIANT sack from Topshop, New Look, River Island, Steve Madden, Dune, vintage from Deborah Woolf Vintage, beaded Aspiga sandals, Chinese Laundry, Marks & Spencer, Bloch, Penelope Chilvers, Patrick Cox for Jigsaw, Pretty Ballerinas…
HUGE thanks to Chiltern Street Studios, and especially Eleanor, for their patience, and to the extraordinarily talented Clym Evernden for designing the flyer for us. www.clymevernden.co.uk
