ooh this stuff is GOOOD. Really, really plump baby face, is that really my skin? kind of good. I know this because I started pawing my face after three days wondering why it felt and looked so good. And that really doesn’t happen very often.
I went off to Devon with my Globetrotter vanity case stuffed full of new body and hair products that I had been sent from PRs to try out, but managed not to include any type of night cream or facial serum. Duh. So I ended up using this as both day and night cream, with no other creams on my face.
I wasn’t thrilled, as it didn’t seem a great idea to block my pores at night with an SPF, but beggars, choosers etc etc. As it happens, it has an extraordinary lightweight texture: the pale pink cream feels almost whipped, which is extraordinary as it does contain Titanium Dioxide.
Its lightness is partly because Photo Plasma is an oil-free cream, designed to glide onto skin smoothly. The shell pink cream, (derived from antioxidant-rich, Astaxanthin found in red algae and known for its photo protective powers), is designed to create an invisible shield against environmental aggressors, and its mineral-based broad spectrum SPF 30 guards against UVA and UVB damage. There is also Vitamin C Ester and Alpha Lipoic Acid to help brighten the skin and smooth surface imperfections.
It promises to leave skin soft, hydrated and radiant and, for once, it really does do what it says on the tin: I had no breakouts, no Rosacea irritation and properly plumped skin. This is a highly recommend.
