I LOVE this stuff. Greasy sun protection is a no no in the city, or when wearing a posh frock: no one wants to feel like a basted turkey when fully clothed. So clever Nivea have produced a new sun spray, Invisible Cooling Mist, that feels totally dry, not greasy and refreshingly cool in the summer heat. In fact it’s hard to believe that it has even been applied.
I was at Guards Polo Club at Smith’s Lawn, Windsor Great Park as a guest of Barbour yesterday. Because my back is still screwed, I couldn’t play, so sat happily in the sun, shaded by my Panama (A bargain £15 here) and giant Gucci shades, but with arms and legs spidered out to encourage vitamin D action. Given that my skin sizzles in the sun after minutes of non protected exposure, I was really impressed that at day’s end I had zero redness, not a jot of sunburn. I even noticed a little colour on my skin.
It also has a 360 degree valve can be used from all angles, upside down, sideways and behind your back making it easy to protect even hard to reach places.
