This in between weather, where it’s hot one day and rainy the next, is extremely confusing on the wardrobe front. It never gets properly cold, but bare legs are a bit optimistic and wearing my usual black uniform seems de trop once we are in May. So my solution is a pale coat (this one is by Goat) to give the illusion of light; cropped or rolled jeans (J Brand) with sock-free feet, and a pair of high heels in an an eye popping colour.
As you may have noticed from my previous shoe wardrobe post, I have a thing for red shoes, and the Kurt Geiger London Elliot in scarlet suede £220 is my shoe of choice right now. (I am all over the Elliot, with its trademark Kurt Geiger ‘Britton’ stiletto heel. The Elliot comes in a leopard pony that I covet, as well as black & a nude versions.)
After all, if I think it’s sunny, then it IS sunny, right? (Danni sunglasses by KG Kurt Geiger in black £60.)
