Oh this stuff is really, really good. It spreads a layer of thick, moisturising cream over winter-battered skin, without irritating it, or blocking pores. Olé Henriksen Dry Skin Skin Insulator SPF15 aims to prevent capillary damage, by protecting the skin from the elements by dint of making it so hydrated, nothing could possibly pop.
It’s billed as a daily moisturiser for dry and sensitive skin types which require extra nourishment and hydration, and contains borage seed oil for its gamma linolenic acid content to prevent moisture loss, linseed extract to nourish and soothe, shea butter to moisturise and vitamins A and C to hopefully regenerate the complexion.
I’ve been using this face cream throughout the cold snap as my morning moisturiser when I know I am going outdoors as it contains an SPF15 — when I know I am staying put I revert to my other hero product from Olé Henriksen: the Nurture Me Soothing Crème Moisturiser. Even in biting wind, with my eyes running everywhere, my skin has remained soothed, soft and plumped. I really think it is an excellent product.
