How fabulous! I love afternoon tea– in fact my favourite meal of the day, especially when there’s champagne involved too! Like you I’m lucky to have inherited beautiful china tea sets and a full silver tea service which belonged to my grandparents given to them to commemorate their silver wedding anniversary (nan was good enough to let me play with it as a little girl so it already has lots of lovely memories attached). Looks like you all had a wonderful time– good on you! x

Ah, this is so perfect. So British with the little sandwiches and dainty teapots and everything, I love it.
