Ah, The Clothes Show on TV, how that makes me smile! In 1986 I sat ‘O’ level Textiles, and at some point over the subsequent 2 years the Clothes Show team (yes, including Jeff Banks as I recall) visited our school for a fashion show. In those days my friends and I all made our own clothes — it was such an exciting experience!

You are so right!! The Clothes Show gave me a passion for clothes and the fashion industry that still exists to this day. I remember watching Valentino and Chloe shows on there and then they interviewed Naomi, Kate et al and it was the singularly most glamourous thing I’ve ever seen. I was hooked from then on. Well done for being asked to appear at the CSL. So exciting. X
