Back in August, Hannah, Mark & I hopped it at the last minute to St Mawes in Cornwall for the most delightful long weekend. We stayed in Dreamcatchers, one of the beautiful dedicated self-catering properties owned by St Mawes Retreats in and around St Mawes & Fowey.
We had *such* a wonderful time, exploring St Mawes Castle, eating ice cream at The Tresanton, baking cakes, and walking the Roseland Peninsula, and I really cannot recommend St Mawes Retreats and their beautiful rental houses enough. Here’s the short film I made of the house — it’s one of the best self-catering properties in which I have stayed, with a truly forensic level of attention to detail.

Gosh, that place is the stuff of dreams! I remember oohing and aahing over the photos when you first posted them, and this video just confirms how amazing it would be to stay there. A girl can dream…!
