This afternoon found me in Paris at the Espace Ephemere in the Tuileries for the Valentino SS13 show.
Inside the tent, waiting for Valentino to start.
Outside, after the show:
When I first started attending the Paris collections some ten years ago, the stroll to the tent through the white, dusty gravel of the Tuileries was uneventful. You walked, you entered, you watched the show, you left.
Now it’s a a cluster fuck of photographers, amateur & pro, all trying desperately to capture that ultimate street style moment. It’s quite the circus.
First thing tomorrow is Louis Vuitton. We are all wondering how they will top last season’s steam train in the Louvre courtyard…
*(And if you cld just pretend that that white lens smudge isn’t there, I would be thrilled. Thank you.)
