Chanel Hydra Beauty Serum

Given my tricky skin – rosacea & dry sensitivity, I’ve always seen the point of using serums. Why wouldn’t I want to add in something that promises a shot of super nutrients, vitamins, anti-oxidants and the rest? I don’t have a particular loyalty, although I do tend to revert to Caudalie if I think about it.

For the past three weeks I’ve been using Chanel’s Hydra Beauty Serum in conjunction with Ole Henrikson’s Nurture Me Cushioning Cream, and my skin is currently the best that it has been in months. Glowing, plumped up, and absolutely no breakouts – not even time of the month ones. I am one happy, good complexioned writer at the moment.

It’s billed as ‘intensive moisture serum for the face. Protection & radiance booster”, and it pretty much does what it says on the tin.

Chanel Hydra Beauty Serum £59 (Not cheap, but it does seem to last)

I should give it a try. I’ve got stupid rotten skin that plays me up all the time. Did not expect that in my 40’s!

have a lovely weekend x

@sadie: Me neither, it blows doesn’t it? Try asking for a sample at the Chanel counter, and trying it out. I really like it. LLGxx
