There was way too much fun last night on Bond Street. When I tell you that the photo above was taken in the first fifteen minutes of our event at Coach, you’ll have an idea of just how busy Mayfair — and the Coach store — was last night. Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out has become a huge event, with almost every shop on and around New & Old Bond Street throwing open their doors ’till late, with everything from flowing Champagne, and ice cream (Misssoni) to make overs and manicures on offer to shoppers.
We were there to celebrate the launch of Coach’s Legacy Duffle, & its do-it-yourself customisation kit (strap, hangtag and tassel). Myself, Emily Johnston from Fashion Foie Gras, and Ella Gregory from Coco’s Tea Party were co-hosting, and all carried our own Duffles.
Emily added bobbles, and I strung a necklace between the straps,
It was a complete coincidence that we chose matching bags AND strap kits…I went with cobalt, and Emily with fuchsia.
And here we are with lovely Ella
This is Ella’s bag. (Loving the subtle tassel bedazzling.)
There was music from Toby Williams on the decks.
And drinks by The Cellar Society.
And a LOT of guests. I was so wrapped up in chatting to everyone that I didn’t realise until afterwards that it got so busy they had to shut the doors for a while. Result.
Thank you to so many readers who popped in to say hello, to Sarah from Fight for Your Write who won the Giveaway tickets, and to Team LLG’s Katie Bowkett who swung by, cheery as ever.
I can spot at least five bloggers in this photo I took at the end of the evening. Can you?!

When I walked past much, much later on the way home, the store looked as though we had never been there. We know better tho, don’t we?!

Well done on an excellent party and thanks again – and for the link – wow! I loved pieces like their gorgeous baseball paperweights and baseball leather bits but had no idea Coach was so colourful before Thursday night. FFYW post coming soon x
It was a great night!
Beautiful bags you’ve made there!
It looks like a really fin night out. Love the idea of customising your own Coach bag.
