Lake Worth

So I’m drawing to the end of Day Three at Viva Mayr. I am pretty hungry, it has to be said. Monday and Tuesday I breezed through, but today I had a definite almost painful hunger wobble late afternoon, and had to eat two almonds I found in the bottom of my handbag.

As I mentioned in my previous post, the Viva Mayr process is well known for its weight loss, but this is a side effect of the clinic’s focus on healing the body’s digestive processes and the cleansing regimen it prescribes. I’m on a restricted diet to give my overloaded colon a break, and get my eating habits back in check. And oh my poor intestinal system. (When Dr. Domenig, my personal physician, gave my stomach an exploratory prod or two on Monday I cannot tell you how much it hurt when he pressed down. Owwwwww.)

So, to give you an idea of what I’ve been up to here is my schedule for Tuesday:

0800: Breakfast: three boiled potatoes & a small glass of whipped avocado. Pills.
0830: Blood tests (this IS a medical clinic after all, and all the therapists are fully qualified and trained doctors)

0900: Muscle function training (power plate session with trainer)
0930: fitting of a 24hr heart monitoring machine

1345: Lunch. baked sheeps cheese, vegetable mirepoix (Pixie sized). Pills
1530: 50 min massage

At least the view from the dining room terrace is lovely, and it’s been warm enough for the past two days to sit there for all our meals:

Cleansing your colon will do wonders for your health, take it from me. I recently did a week on OxyPowder and am a new person. It melts away the build up, taking with it all the parasites and bacteria that breed in the bowel. It’s been a week and I’m lighter and much less bloated.

Chew, chew and chew the food some more and that will help with hunger.

XO

This is fascinating and I hope it makes you feel better, but I am dying to know why the meals are so potato-centric? Can you enlighten me?

Actually I read many years ago book of German author about healthy diets, and they suggested boiled potatoes for lunch and dinner, for 2 weeks. It is interesting, that is still working:) regards from London:)

I hope that this stay does you as much good as your last one did, and I am sure it will be wonderful in the end, but those photos of your food are making me cry in sympathy with you. You are staunch and brave. Do you dream of food?

Would love to be cossetted like that even though it means feeling hungry. A bit like wearing a hair shirt for a bit……..but not too long.
