LLG Shops: The new ALDO Oxford Street store

Aldo Oxford Street

Instead of my more usual breakfast of yoghurt & berries, this morning was all about mini pains au chocolat and shoes. As I’m sure you’ll agree, a distinct improvement on my regular morning activity. The pastries and footwear overload were part of ALDO’s press breakfast to launch their new revamped Oxford Street store, before the major opening party of the general public this Saturday (the 21st)

So that mean I got to drool over the fabulous J W Anderson for ALDO Rise shoes that I bought a few weeks ago:

and watch lots of happy fashion editors trying on shoes. (On left, are one of the pairs of ALDO Rise shoes by Preen.)

So, as I mentioned, this Saturday – the 21st – the store will be throwing an open to everyone opening party, with live DJs, free manicures, a pick n mix station, and a popsicle truck.

And I’m happy to announce that I am teaming up with ALDO to let you all know about the new store: on Saturday I’ll be Tweeting about the fun things going on at the opening party, and on Monday I’ll be running a giveaway for one lucky reader to receive two pairs of their choice from ALDO’s excellent Rise collaboration with J W Anderson, Preen, Libertine, and Faster Mark Fast.

It looks sooo big and amazing. I am loving the colour of the flat sandals and the bags in the photo below.
