This clutch from Anndra Neen is so deceptively simple, & so covetable. I’d put my things inside a small black velvet pouch, the better to show off the cage work. Or perhaps I’d just pare everything down to a phone, a Tom Ford lipstick & a credit card.

Alpaca silver oval open cage clutch with brass ball detailing on the edges &  bar clasp by Anndra Neen. £490.00

The jewelry and accessories brand Anndra Neen was established by siblings Phoebe and Annette Stephens in 2009. The inspirations behind the hand-crafted pieces they conceive from mixed metals are informed by the childhood they spent in Mexico surrounded by art and artists. They were the winner of their 2011 Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize, worth USD $40,000, and which will see their work displayed in the Hôtel Plaza Athénée during Paris Fashion Week next season.

Lovely, and affordable

Utterly gorgeous. Think I’d be too afraid to carry it though, as it would expose the disorganised handbag contents that us ladies usually like to hide behind layers of leather and lining! Isn’t it said you should never ask a girl what she keeps in her handbag? You wouldn’t have to with this one!

Stunning bag. I saw it on Avenue 32 yesterday and am seriously in love with it. I love your objects of desire posts. Have you ever considered doing them on rare pre-owned pieces?
