Red’s Hot Women Awards Part Two

I’ve got a whole lot more I want to say about Red’s Hot Women of the Year Awards and the role of women in the 21^st century but it’s taking me a while to articulate it all so, for the time being, here’s a reminder that the brilliant January issue of Red is on news stand right now, featuring all 16 winners of the 15 categories.

Just look at my group from the photo shoot: Commander Sarah West of the Royal Navy, social campaigner Barbara Soetan and Karyn McCluskey,  co-director of the Violence Reduction Unit of Scotland. It was an absolute privilege getting to know these women, even for a short time as we played dress up and laughed & posed for the camera.

(I won Blogger of the Year, partly, for turning my passion project into a viable business). What the judges said: Elisabeth Murdoch: ‘Sasha is an example of why writers, editors and producers should be natural digital media pioneers – but very few have shown the curiosity, skill, drive and tenacity to use the incredible new tools at our fingertips.’)
