Last week I missed my plane to Barcelona, and ended up staying a night at Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa a mere ten minutes down the road from the airport. I wrote about my stay here, but I also shot a short film during my stay:

Gorgeous and Mitfordesque. It would have reverted me to age 13, having just read ‘Love in a cold climate’, imagining every stately house we visited was my parents’ house for generations.
Is it wrong of me to wish that the headline to this piece had been ‘Woo hoo, Luton hoo’?

I caught up on this video last night and I must say it does look like my ultimate Nancy Mitford type fantasy country house. The rooms do look more like staying in a stately home than a hotel but with the added hotel bathrooms and flat screens- sumptious
