Our lovely friends over at Angel Jackson have very kindly offered this beautiful fringed Mutiara Satchel, worth £308, as a Christmas giveaway here on www.libertylondongirl.com

As regular readers will know I am a huge fan of the label, having first written about them over a year ago. I was then thrilled to see in the New Year that they were one of the shortlist for the inaugural British Fashion Council/Vogue Fashion Fund Award, alongside seven more of the UK’s hottest design names, including Erdem, Nicholas Kirkwood & Christopher Kane.

I’ve been dreaming of an Angel Jackson bag since your last post, and have it on my Christmas list!

I think if I won I’d just carry it around every day I’d be that happy! However I do have a plain lbd that is crying out for an attention-seeking bag. And then again my black jeans/black leather boots combo could also do with jazzing up.

Oh the choices!

I’d wear the bag with a simple LBD and gold shoes.

The bag is lovely! I would wear it together with my favourite party dress, a black halterneck from Michael Kors, a bargain I did on an outlet outside New York for some years ago. Very high black heels of course, and some very simple classic jewellery. Since the bag has so many details, the acessories has to be simple.

That is definitely a classy accessory with a personality all on its own. I would wear it with my floaty cream chiffon dress. It’s a simple cut dress that is subdued enough, feminine enough to let that little sparkly little number shine.

Cheers and happy holidays everyone!

What a fantastic giveaway thankyou! I really loved the clutch you posted about and I would love this sparkly little number! I’m determined not to buy anything new until I have lost some pounds (it’s my idea of an incentive)and so this would jazz up my little black dress perfectly for my office bash.

The satchel is simply lovely! For the holidays, I’d wear it with everything–a deep, jewel-toned emerald, cropped silk party dress; a billowy, black, backless one-piece pantsuit; or with jeans, a tailored shirt, velvet blazer and flats. It’s not only gorgeous, it goes with everything!!! Love it!!

As the bag is quite embellished with tassels and exquisite sequin detail I’d keep the rest of my outfit quite simple. I’m thinking wide leg silk trousers, velvet block heels and a simple cashmere vest would complete the look – not forgetting lashings of mascara and a plum stain on the lips! x
