I’m not so much a bath person as a shower person. Punctuality isn’t my strong point, and drawing a bath is a time luxury I can rarely afford.
So, when I do take a bath, I want it to smell divine and leave my skin soft and conditioned. Although I do like a bath full of bubbles in the manner of a 1950s movie, those bubbles tend to have a drying effect on the skin, so I prefer an oil.
Neom Luxury Organics sent me their bath oil with English lavender, jasmine & basil (30% essential oils), along with the matching hand –poured Tranquility candle, suggesting them as a perfect wind down solution for evenings during London Fashion Week. Unfortunately my evenings during London Fashion Week were spent at shows and then working from my bed until 2 or 3am each morning and I never got to use the glorious bath in The Stafford where I stayed for three of those nights.
But I did check into the Sofitel St James for the weekend after LFW, and I took along the Neom products as the whole point of my stay was to escape from the world.
I adore the packaging, which feeds right back into that 1950s vibe. This glass bottle would look beautiful in any bathroom. And the contents? They match up to the packaging. I drifted away on a cloud of English lavender, jasmine & basil deliciousness, and my skin was soft and delicately scented afterwards.
(Since I tried these out, Harper’s Bazaar voted Neom’s Organic Body Lotion as best Organic body Skincare in their Bazaar Beauty Hot 100, an indispensable guide to the top 100 beauty products of 2010. )

For the xmas wishlist
sounds gorgeous. I am a shower girl too (rascally 4 year old girl leave me no Mummy Time!), but this sounds perfect for an absolute treat when I do get round to having a bath. Shall hunt them down and add to my christmas wishlist too!
hope your sister is on the mend.
I was a very lucky girl and lived in soho for 6 months– but I had no bath.
I’ve just moved to East London and quite literally the first thing I did when I was in the door (after throwing all the luggage at the bed) was draw a bath and get straight in. For simple pleasures there is nothing so fine– good bath oil elevates the bath about 100%
