Awww
I’ve never been either. When I make my first million I promise I’ll take you, mouse ears n all…
I’ve always wanted to go to Disneyland Paris too, however I am going to the second best thing in a few weeks, Disneyworld in Florida! Your friend sounds quite special to have recieved such a complement from Jackson himself! Also I am glad to hear that you are starting to feel better from your illness
So sorry you’re still feeling rotten and can’t go, but if it’s any consolation, when you’re feeling better you can take Six and Three to Disneyland, CA. I’ll PAY you to do it, honest;) xoxo
I’ve been a couple of times to Disneyland but not to any of the US locations. The rides are pretty tame. I imagine that it’s not nearly as extensive as the US Disney-places. The weather is usually fair to poor. And you wouldn’t know you were in France.
Come to Europe but give Disneyland a miss unless you have a lot of time at your disposal. Do Disney in its rightful home. It’s fine but it’s a theme park. Spend a week in Paris. Or driving round the Val de Loire.
Why am I talking like a travel agent???? Duh.
I have just taken my children to Disneyland for the first time and am pleased to say you are never too old to adore it. Oh, and they picked up some fab mouse ears too.
I agree with Jem, your friend must sound spectacular if Michael Jackson himself complimented her! And young Luella (how aptly named, considering the looks of quite a few of the designer’s collections) looks adorable in that frock and those ears!
I’ve never made it to Disneyland either, I wanted so badly to go when I was a kid (when they mainly dealt in cartoons, and none of this dumb virginal teen star business). That (any Disneyland) and the Ghibli museum are my two animation meccas– I hope I’ll make it to at least one of them sometime, and get the mouse ears to prove it.
oooh Rollergirl — hire a big 747 and you can take lots of us!
Have always wanted to do Disneyland Florida but would settle for Disneyland Paris.…but I strongly suspect that my son is more blasé than me and end up mortified as his mother screams with delight at the Big Parade.
(Sorry — don’t know how to do fiddly French grammar marks!)

There is always one friend who has the best ever holiday job! I’ve just caught up on your posts and so sorry you were unwell. Good hospital bag advice though x
Disneyland rocks! But so does your blog!

So sorry you can’t go…but they will surely bring you some fabulous ears. At least.
xo
If all else fails, just page me, your one-stop mouse shop. I am often in Orlando since there is no shopping in Northern Florida. No mouse ears, no Armani lipsticks, no Bond No. 9 fragrances.
Oh EuroDisney is fabulous!. If you do get there let us know and we can meet up at La Vallée Village for some serious and luxurious retail therapy. It is virtually next door. You would love that too

I’m sure another opportunity will present itself — hope you are on the mend x
Disneyland paris is great, make sure you seize your next opportunity to go!
I’m taking a gap year next year and managed to bag myself an interview — but chickened out last minute! I’ll be spending the next few months working like you did to save up for my travels!
Great blog as always!

I’m sorry you can’t go along. You’d better mend fast so the entire summer doesn’t get away from you! xo
Ahh those mouse ears, I took Daisy before Kitty was born 3 times via school trips. I was broke and only had enough money for one gift, she chose those mouse ears, then left them under her pillow in the hotel! She cried all the way home and to this day the memory of that loss is seared into her.
