I stay in a lot of hotels, and am always astonished at the effort & thought that goes into the fruit plates that are left in hotels for guests. These are my favourites from the past year.

I take it not in the biblical sense.

Wowsers, impressive fruit offerings! You have now triggered off a frantic memory scanning for ‘…I have known’ as I can’t remember what context I associate with the phrase and a google search hasn’t shed any light on it /:embarrassed memory fail smilie/

How’s the tropical illness doing and how are you rallying? Is it nice to be in the UK for now?

Hope all is well :-) One shouldn’t be allowed to ingest that amount of fruit and then fall ill, it’s an outrage.

What on earth are the green berries on the last one? I need to go make a smoothie now, these look delicious and all I have at the moment are frozen strawberries.

@Esti melon balls! I’m just sorry the photo is so hazy: Blackberry unfort, but the plate was too good to omit!
@BeccaS I can’t think either! LLGxx

Berries in martini glasses? Why yes, I’ll take two. Those balls of fruit look a bit fiddled with, tho. Yuk.

wow! The last one is definitely my fave, though I might have trouble telling a fruit from another without tasting it first ;-) On the other hand, there’s no reason why I woulnd’t taste them all, so nevermind ;-)
