I’m a little under the weather still, so I’ve been taking it easy since I arrived on Sunday in this beautiful city. There’s been a lot of snuggling under the delicious Frette sheets at the Hotel InterContinental and eating of room service.
Yesterday I moved to the hotel where Mango are hosting their foreign guests, the Hotel AC Santo Mauro, (above) just down the road from my luxury digs at the InterCon.
Today I’ve been working in the beautiful gardens here:

Oh no! I was in Madrid last May and I was ill too. But lots of horse tranquilizer-esque Spanish painkillers and a day in the Prado cured all.

The tomatoes here are amazing right now! Your timing for tomato eating is impeccable. You should try the oranges as well. Seriously, you wouldn’t believe an orange could taste so good.
