Over the weekend I made the mac n cheese from my cookbook #friendsfoodfamily for lunch. Happily there was enough for lunch today, as it reheats beautifully. Apart from my special ingredient, I also used panko crumbs on top of the cheese for extra crunch - I love the silkiness of the rich sauce against the chewy crisp top. (It also makes a great Thanksgiving side). Best of all it takes less than thirty minutes.
