Enjoyed your tweets and agree that Sandra looked sensational.
I thought Carey Mulligan was going to topple over on her heels- could they have been any higher? She looked great though. As did Penelope Cruz. Liked your description of J-Lo - we thought she looked as if she were esconsed in bubblewrap (perhaps a wrap treatment that went wrong?!)

I finally got to watch as ABC and Cablevision resolved their dispute at 8.50PM, restoring Oscar coverage to 3 million New Yorkers! So you may have had problems live tweeting from here.....

This was the first time I ever watched the Oscars. Caught the last hour. I loved Sandra Bullock's lips and her acceptance speech.

I thought Peter Sarsgaard's speech for Carey Mulligan's nomination was awful: slimey, patronizing, and self-referential. (Also, my friend hung out with him for an evening once and said that he was a smug, arrogant a-hole.)

Did anyone notice Alec Baldwin slapping Kathryn Bigelow on the ass at the end? It was really funny. It looked so boyish and silly, it was hard to take offense!
