Bet you never thought you’d see that header on a fashion blog.
We had a flock of wild turkeys land in the garden:
I was about fifty feet away so this is a little blurry (& I only got four — there were a lot more):
But: WILD TURKEYS! In the GARDEN! This does not happen in England. EVER. Turkeys live in sheds getting porky for Christmas back home.
And then, the icing on the cake: they flew off! Seriously, we had flying wild turkeys over our garden.
God I love America.
PS Silly moo commentator who said I was staying in the suburbs: how d’you like dem apples now?

Je l’adore! So good, evocative and so out of the ordinary, so.… wish I was there too.…
I love your posts LLG x x
Um, should possibly have been … je les adore, but don’t want to get too bogged down with the grammatical errors. You get the picture anyway. x
I get so excited about things like this. I would freak out if I saw turkeys in my garden and who knew that turkeys can fly!?!
There’s nothing wrong with the suburbs. We have coyotes across the street. They’ve come right up to my front door.
You’re absolutely right Enc love, but the level of condescending snark from the commentator who left the suburbs comment really got my goat! LLGxx
Amazing, what a wonderful sight. I would have been very excited. xx
‘WILD TURKEYS’ caption with arrow priceless. Now that’s what I call free-range…
Wild Turkeys — very cool. I was so overexcited when I saw a raccoon in the garden that I had to email my sister in the UK straight away.…
Here, the only turkeys in gardens that I’ve seen are the inflatable kind (yes, really).
Wow! How fab is that! Have a lovely weekend x
, I live right in the city (of Boston) and there are raccoons walking around! Maybe “We all adore,” would be most appropriate.
Fun! Glad you got pictures.
Wow, Had you been drinking Wild Turkey?
